Connect Event # 3
Tailgate Pizza Party and Baruch Men’s Volleyball Game!
Thursday, March 5, 5pm – 8pm
Join us for pizza dinner and a pre-game “tailgate”! We’ll have snacks, learn about American sports culture, and make some signs to show our support for the Baruch Men’s Volleyball Team.
Before the game, we’ll learn a few chants, make signs to support the Baruch Bearcats, and share snacks as we get ourselves ready for a fun and exciting volleyball game. This event will bolster school spirit, help you get more involved in the Baruch community, and will be an opportunity to use casual English in a fun, authentic university environment. Go Bearcats!
We’ll eat and prepare in 17 Lex, room 1209 at 5pm, then head over to the NVC to attend the match against Trine University at 6pm.

Game Night & Pizza Party!
Friday, November 22nd, 5pm – 7pm
17 Lex Room 1209
Join us for an evening of games, pizza, and snacks! Join your classmates and Speech Consultants in chatting over games like Rummikube, Codewords, Munchkins, and Taboo. All of these games are highly communicative, so you’ll be getting plenty of English practice as you enjoy a classic American tradition of hanging out over a well-loved boardgame. Bring a game that your family plays, or that is common in your culture if you would like to, or just come as you are!
